I got to check out the Discovery Fashion Design Studio from The Discovery Store ($34.95). It is a cool fashion design kit with fabrics and sewing tools to make beautiful doll-sized dresses. It shows you how to design from scratch, starting with step-by-step instructions for drawing sketches.This was the first time I had ever sewn so it was hard at first but I got the hang of it without much help (my mom showed me how to measure the fabric). I had a lot of fun and can't wait to get more fabric!
